mochito & family lived happily together in their youth and a bit into their adulthood even but one day a young god happened to see mochito and decide to choose them to be their champion.. mochito decided to follow because of family encouragement and because well. it is a god and so they acted as the champion awhile though they were never like the bright shining golden type of champion u know. more like a silent bodyguard that's Watching.. they didn't realize it because it was gradual but whenever they visited their family to begin with they realized changes were happening because they were so close to divinity so often, though it was mostly things related to ability; better eyesight especially, but also somewhat better hearing other senses etc. so they end up doing the champion gig for awhile with sporadic family visits (at least 3 times a year MINIMUM though they always tried to visit as often as possible because one of their main motivations for joining outside of the stuff i mentioned was for their family because then their family would be perpetually blessed by the god mochito represents etc and just ends up gnerally safer overall) but then one day mochito gets put in a situation where they had to choose between their family and the deity they served- except for them, they never lost their 'human perspective' even despite being surrounded by godly things for so long right amongst other things.. the deity they championed for too was also never in actual danger.. they were a god, and a young bright vibrant one that couldn't be taken down easily anyways.. so mochito chose to protect their family but in doing so angered the god they (now formerly) championed
the god got hurt so badly they both ended up with a scar, thanks to the connection that was formed from mochito just bein around them so much and god stuff affecting human bodies in weird ways. mochito getting a scar wasnt that big of a deal after all they are still Human even if they are (were) a champion.. compared to the divine humans bend and fold and break so much more easily, which is also precisely why the god getting a scar was a Big deal.. after all, it is a young god.. one that is not wise, but is bright, vain, and most importantly.. powerful. and with mochito being the first human to breach their trust in such a damaging and embrrasing way (i mean for a HUMAN FAMILY!! really?? theyre a god!! they're divine!!! they are the center of the universe) .. the god became vengeful.. and so for betraying them in such a way, mochito got banished permanently but more importantly cursed with immortality; after all, the young god knew them well enough to know what would make them hurt the most :) at first mochito was in denial.. after all, aging by virtue of what it is alone doesn't happen quickly. so they just settled in again as if they had never left; the only signs left of them being a champion anyways were the marks on their body that could never be removed. everything else was gotten rid of by that vengeful, young god- the mere idea of their existence was erased for the followers who cared, for the divine the young god could control over; and any older being wouldn't care for something as trivial as that to begin with (they found the idea of having a champion vain since the start, too)
and so.. mochito existed. and lived with their family.. but while their siblings changed, their parents changed, the very land they lived on changed... they never changed with it. soon enough it was something they couldn't deny or hide from any more.. not as their parents grew more frail while their back stayed straight, not while their youngest sister has grown into a woman and their other younger sisters and brothers have grown into adults with their own lives and families.. all while they have stayed unchanging.. but it is the worst when their father, who dies first, and they see their face looking exactly the same as they remember it from decades ago while even some of their younger siblings sport gray hair now. time passes on for everyone except them and they know that vengeful god, older, is still watching them despite everything.. they would never forgive the first person to betray their trust after all. even their siblings start dying, and mochito has to stay with the families they made too as they grew and aged and lived and moved on.. all things denied to them now (though they had already been denied for many more years. they know this. but they can't accept it).
eventually it's only them and their youngest sister left, who at this point is an old woman; she never married, but she still became a star for the community. everyone knew of her and her strange taskperson (mochito. they are still a weirdo despite it all).. and despite all the love in her life and all the people she could have chosen to stay with.. she decided to spend her final moments with mochito.. and she expressed love for them.. love all their family had, and pride, and joy, and memories and emotions and everything that mochito couldn't accept in their grief as they stay static while everyone was able to move.. and they wanted to cry because out of all the things their youngest sister could be doing for such a vulnerable, important moment like this, she decided to spend it with them instead of the family of the commnity she helped found herself, she still decided to stay with mochito who is stuck in this eternal youth.. the eternal childhood before passing away... their wound, while still aching and open.. was soothed

time passes on. they live through decades that turn into centuries, eventually leading to millennia they've lived. mochito still stays. the world changes; it grows more connected; people can sail, fly, and even don't need to leave their homes to speak with and see people from across the world.
they end up building a family of their own for the first time. a daughter named silia enters their life in a way none other had before. a student, mars, becomes interested in their stories; it may not be completely perfect (they've long known nothing could ever be perfect). but they are still the happiest they have been; they don't have a shining past, but for the first time in years, they have vivid dreams.

additional information
mochito will outlive the god that cursed them

the only way they are able to be killed is by violence or something like universe heat death. they will never be able to share the gentle fate that they made sure their family had. they have come to peace with this fact

with the god's death they no longer have any figures from the time they first came from; any other being had been long gone

their favorite food to snack on is coconut meat

their least favorite type of food is extremely spicy

they like their kids (so much. so much) and talking with other old people

stoic and blunt. however, the way they act belies their caring and emotional nature. despite having lived so long, they've always had difficulties with communication and forming intimate connections.

traits
all the knowledge and skills that they have formed from being immortal. they have a long memory

the connection they once had with the god that cursed them is gone, but there are still lingering effects that being around divinity for so long has left. their body is not entirely human.

piercing vision is one effect of their exposure to the divine; they are able to see through the body of any living creature. nothing inside is hidden to them; however, this has drawbacks as well. their vision is permanently this way; the only method for them to see what someone looks like is either by using a mirror or viewing from their peripheral

vanitas no carte
name: a french one
age: still very old
species: crimson vampire
personality: similar enough except they're more at peace with themself
relationships: silia (14, dham, daughter... these things will not change)

mochito became a vampire when the world's formula became altered. it all happened in an instant; one moment they were human, and then the next, the very fabric of their being was rewritten and the world opened up to them. while feeling lost at first, their family's unwavering acceptance of mochito, even after their changes, led them down a much less painful path than others of their infant race at the time. with their family's blessing and encouragement to live on, explore the world, and find their happiness. mochito lived easily amongst many cultures, avoiding europe only until after the war was done and the treaty made. in the late 19th century, they find a young human girl who they decide to raise as their own despite better judgement. they keep her close and name her silia. their life is quiet, but joyful; silia is their light. but not everything is as perfect as it seems. symptoms of illness are forming in mochito, and silia refuses to leave them. what could come out of this..?

MALNOMEN: Crainte, Their Precious Fears. The first symptoms of this affect the host alone; along with the typical symptoms of the malady, the ill slowly becomes plagued with visions of their fears. At first, it's only things that hover at just the corner of their vision; glimpses that flit out of consciousness once focused on. However, as time passes and their name grows more corrupted, the fears are unleashed, leeching out into the world as the formula around the vampire becomes passively corrupted as well. It is most damaging for others when a vampire as old and powerful as Mochito is infected, because of this, their fears clawing into some form of reality--no matter how much they attempt to hide it. After all, no matter how long lived, there is always room for fear.

kimetsu no yaiba
name: Kasurada (鴉田) Mochito (モチト)
age: 19
personality: more brash, but more quiet, too. while they've come to accept the consequences of being a slayer, it still does not come easily.
relationships: Kasurada Juli (father; deceased), Kasurada Paloma (mother; deceased), Kasurada Colibrí (sister, 17; deceased), Kasurada Ibis (sister, 15; deceased), Kasurada Rubí (sister, 9; deceased), Kasurada Nene (sister, 5; alive), Obanai Iguro (mentor)

mochito's parents had immigrated to japan at the request of the ubuyashiki family to serve as crow trainers for the corps. as time passed on, their parents began to make a family of their own; first mochito, than colibrí, and all their other sisters. the family was happy; and they all did what they could. their mother became a slayer while their father stayed behind to tend to the children and crows. unfortunately for their family, things wouldn't last; not when they were secluded, vulnerable to demon attacks.mochito's entire family was home one night when they were returning from an errand run; and just as they met the treeline before their home would loom out of the woods, the stench of blood filled the air. they dashed forwards, and the world seemed to move in slow motion as nene wailed and their mother and father faltered, just as the demon in front of their family lunged.

mochito woke up stained with blood, clutching their youngest siblings closely as the demon turned to ash in the sun and a flock of distraught crows in training breached the horizon with slayers running after it.

obanai was where they ended up next; and he realized their potential, their unique vision, and their rage; he sent them off to learn the breath of flames, to officially become a slayer. they came back in six months, wielding their own breath of rage. while their ability grew for some time, their rage began to pitter out. eventually, their technique failed and obanai kicked them out (he still sheltered their youngest sister though, which was all that really mattered); they wandered as slayer, taking missions and slaying demons even with no technique fueling their blade. the vision they had allowed them to survive and slay.

everything changed when they were violently thrown into a situation reflecting their past; a treeline, a home, a family, a demon. that's when they realized their error all along, and thats when their breath reignited, and flames spilled from their blade again as the demon's head rolled to the floor before a drop of blood could be spilled. mochito's rage all along had never been empty; it was all to protect those they loved. they would never forget again.
